Timer Output Not Recognized for USB-1608gx-2AO

bebrumfield123

Question

Hi,

I am trying to use the TMR output on the USB-1608gx-2AO board.  I'm running the Python example timer_out.py (python wrapper for UL) and getting the error message that the board I am using doesn't have a timer output.  I've looked back in the User Guide for the 1608gx and it states that the product does have a timer output. Has anyone else run across this issue?

Hello @bebrumfield123.

The USB-1608GX-2AO has one Timer (TMR) output channel.

Refer to the MCC Universal Library for Windows Help for the supported functions.  The timer_out.py example is not supported by this device.

The Help also lists any available generic examples by function call which are saved to the 'C:\Users\Public\Documents\Measurement Computing\DAQ\Python\examples' directory on the target system with the installation of the Python Windows support software for MCC DAQ devices.
