Cant install Adept utilities

My windows 10 computer is not showing my Arty s725 board in device manager or Vivado hardware manager. I tried installing adept utilities from Digilent, but when I install nothing happens and no application can be found on my PC. I tried reinstalling many times and even on another PC, but I can't access the program.

Hi @brycecil,

The portion of your statement that is indicative of the root problem, in my mind, is that the Arty S7 25 is not showing up in the Windows Device Manager.

If Windows is not detecting anything being plugged in at all, this is almost always due to a flaky USB cable or USB port (I've personally experienced both, the former because the cable was only suitable for charging).

I will confirm that there is no GUI or anything associated with the latest version of Adept Runtime/Utilities, which can make the install difficult to verify that it 'worked'.
