DT9837 (USB based) Firmware?

Hi!

I am trying to find the firmware version of my DT9837A board. In QuickDaq I only get the Model, Device-ID, and Driver Version. There is no Firmware Version. Does it mean the device does not have a firmware associated to it? or is there another way to check the firmware?

 

Attached is an image of what I see in the QuickDAQ software.

Hello @gup_08.

The firmware file version is the same version as the driver file, and located in one of the following folders on the target system.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Data Translation\DT9837A

C:\Program Files (x86)\Data Translation\DeviceDriversEV\DT9837A

driver:  DT9837Ak_x64.sys

firmware loader:  DT9837Ald_x64.sys

I did not quite understand, I found those ".sys" files but I can't read them. You're saying that the firmware version should be inside of the driver ".sys"? Or is the Driver Version the same as Firmware version?

A user does not have access to read, modify or update the firmware on the device.

What are you attempting to do?

I was trying to read the firmware version to document it since I have several boards. Reading won't be possible?
