Hello @petermeinhold.

Rolling back to a previous firmware version on the USB-DIO24/37 is not possible.

Fausto

Hi Fausto, thanks for the quick answer. Can you say if changes to bit initialization behavior are expected between these firmware builds? Also, is there any mechanism to choose the bit status on power up?

Cheers

Peter

Hello Peter.

No difference in the bit initialization behavior between the two firmware versions.

Digital channels are pulled up to +5V with internal 47 kΩ resistors and are detected as high logic levels on power up and reset.  The digital I/O lines are configured as inputs by default.  There is no mechanism to change this behavior.  A user would need to build an external circuit to change an external state.

The USB-DIO24/37 uses the industry standard 82C55 DIO chip.

What are the part # and serial numbers on the boards with firmware v1.01 and v1.02?

Regards,

Fausto
