Genesys ZU-5EV with 10 Gigabit

Hi,

I am trying to learn how to configure the Genesys ZU-5EV to use the 10Gigabit SFP interface/connector.

Can anybody give me a list of things I should research and study to learn how to do this?

Right now I am chasing my tail searching the internet for similar designs and reading through all the documentation I can find so anything you can advise me on would be great!

So far I understand:

• Use Xilinx/AMD 10 Gigabit Ethernet PCS/PMA (10GBASE-R) to connect one side to the SFP pins and the other side to the FPGA logic

Ideally I would want to write my own MAC clocked at 156.25MHz to read the packets and to send them to the Zynq processing system.

And yes, I would write my MAC using LabVIEW to get a PoC working then go from there.
