Data Overflow error of USB-TC in DasyLab

tommkey

Question

Hello,

I work with DasyLab and use a USB-TC to mesaure the temperatures for my experiment.

Overnight, about 10 h after starting the programm, it stops and I get an MCC-DVR error with the message that a data overflow occurred concerning the USB-TC.

This mistake started only occurring rectenly, and before that this set-up with the DasyLab program and USB-TC had worked for over two years without this problem ever occurring.

Hello @tommkey.

Did the target system have a recent Windows update or OS upgrade?

If the system is managed by your IT Dept, check with them if they pushed any updates.

Disable sleep and hibernate modes on that system.

Disable any power management settings for that system's USB ports.

Fausto

I just looked - no sleep and hibernate modes on the system were activated. Same with the power management settings.

Also in the linked post the device had the error "Digital device not responding" as in my case it shows the message "Dater Overflow".

Thank you for the response.

Are you able to test your DASYLab worksheet and that USB-TC module on a different Windows system?

Can you create a simple worksheet to capture and display one channel?

Can you share your worksheet to test with my system and USB-TC module?

Regards,

Fausto
