Digital Input read

Can anyone tell me what is missing? I am getting an error when I try to read a digital input on a USB-1208LS.

Hello @Tigrof.

Your example defaulted to an incorrect port (AuxPort) for the channel name.  The USB-1208LS supports '1stPortA' and '1stPortB'.  Reference the UL Help for a device's supported capabilities.  

 

In your vi, use the arrow option in the I/O control to select the desired channel.

 

Consider reviewing digital read and write examples in the ULx for NI LabVIEW examples folder (...\National Instruments\LabVIEW 20xx\examples\ULx\Digital).

Thanks Fausto, but I am not seeing the selection for ports that you sent me. I downloaded the drivers and they are in the 

C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 2023\user.lib\ULx  directory. Is this the correct location for them?

 

I did use Instacall and have the device installed.

The ULx for NI LabVIEW examples are located in your C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 2023\examples\ULx\Digital directory.

If you continue to have an issue, please provide screen captures and detailed descriptions.

Close InstaCal before launching LabVIEW.
