Question about DT9826 error in DasyLab 2022/pro

shyang

Question

I have a problem with DT9826 equipment not being recognized during the DasyLab 2022 installation process.

* PC OS: Windows 10/pro

  Installed program: DataAcqOMNI_V7.8.9 / DASYLab 2022 pro

Please refer to the attached file and reply if there is another way to recognize the DT equipment.

Thank you.

Hello @shyang.

Does the target system have an earlier version of DASYLab already installed?
When you launch DASYLab or the Configurator, do you right click and use ‘Run as administrator’?

Please verify if the system has .NET Framework 3.5 enabled in Windows Control Panel - Programs and Features.

DASYLab installs Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable x86, but the Data Translation DASYLab driver was compiled with an older Visual C++ version 2010.  Previous versions of DASYLab installed Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable x86 which is needed to load/run the Data Translation DASYLab driver properly.  If the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable x86 is not installed on the target PC, then DT’s dll package will not load.

Verify that you have Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 x86 Redistributable or Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable (x86) installed on your Windows 10 system.

If your system does not have it, then go to https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=26999 and click the Download button.  Next, select the vcredist_x86.exe file (Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable x86) and download it to your computer.  Close DASYLab and the Configurator before launching the installation.  Afterwards, restart your system.  Once back into Windows, launch DASYLab and verify if the Data Translation modules branch is present.

Regards,

Fausto
