I'm using five E-DIO24 with VB.
I get the signals states with Ulstat = cbDIn(BoardNum, Port, iValor) for each BoardNum for each Port.
If one of the device lost the communication (network disconnection, power source disconnection) the first command I send takes 1 or 2 seconds to respond with an error code 161. If I send a second command the library takes about 10 seconds to give me a 1020 error and return the control to the program, period in wich I lose the possibility of continuing to interrogate the other devices.
This behavior could be changed by any way? I would need to reduce that timeout.
