USB-2416-4AO DI/O DAQ MATLABSupport

I am using a K type thermocouple inserted into port AI0 on the DAQ and below is my code. I do not know why my graph is not a constant temperature reading, I have tried adjusting the dq.rate but nothing changes. I want to develop this code into a live user interface but cannot move forward until I get correct temperature readings.

According to https://www.mathworks.com/hardware-support/measurement-computing.html, The MatLab DAQ Toolbox does not support thermocouple measurements. If you wish to use the USB-2416-4AO for thermocouples, please consider using the DAQami software.
