DTLVLink64 and Windows 10

Jack3232

Question

Hi all,

We have written a VI that interfaces to a DT9805 Data Translation DAQ via a USB connection.  On the development PC (Windows 10), the VI functions correctly and successfully reads and displays values from the DT9805.  An installer was the built and executed on another windows 10 device, however the data it fetched from the DT9805 was not correct.

There were no errors in LabView, we have rebuilt the installer multiple times and tried on multiple Windows 10 devices.

I have contacted NI Technical Support and they have directed me here.  They said, “All Windows OS are not deterministic and that might be why the result data is different.”

They seem to believe that the issue is with the library and not LabView or its installer.

Are there any known errors between DTLVlink64 and Windows 10 OS?

Best,

Jack

Hello @Jack3232.

Please reply with a zip file containing your built installer and vi files.

Please elaborate and include screen captures.

Does the target Windows 10 system have the Data Translation driver and libraries?

Fausto
