rachot
I'm not sure for Pmod CAN support in Vivado 2023.2 with AMD KR260 Dev kit.
0 dpaul
@rachot Pmoad interface is just a hardware level physical connection between AMD KR260 dev board and your Pmod CAN board. Of course you can connect it. Vivado software version has nothing to do with it. After the physical connection is done, what is important is, your FPGA logic should be able to correctly drive those Pmod signals. Any Pmod extension board can be connected to your AMD KR260 dev board's Pmod interface. Edited May 29 by dpaul rachot
0 rachot
thanks @dpaul for answer but I try to use Pmod CAN V1.0 IP core in vivado 2023.2 I'm not sure for support.
0 dpaul
@rachot sorry I did not clearly understand it from you 1st post. You are trying to use this https://www.xilinx.com/products/intellectual-property/do-di-can.html core in to your design right? And you are concerned that Vivado 2023.2 supports it or not? As for the Pmod CAN, it is just an extension board to be plugged in. This board will have the CAN transceivers or carries the physical layer. The CAN data Link layer design is the one provided by the AMD CAN IP core. Edited June 3 by dpaul
