USB-231 with I2C communication

Is it possible to read I2C with the USB 231.

For Context, I have a USB 231 and need to measure the output of a loadcell. I've been recommended to use a particular signal amplifier from SparkFun, but I am not sure if the USB 231 can be used to read this data output.

I have planned to use DAQami for my data collection and visualization

Hello @AS_ME.

The MCC USB-231 device does not support an I2C protocol signal input.

Do you have datasheets of the loadcell and the signal amplifier from SparkFun?

The RSB6 Low Profile Pancake Load Cell's datasheet shows that an analog interface AI-1000 module can be used to convert the load cell's output signal to a 0 - 5 VDC signal for a data acq module like the MCC USB-231, if that's an option for your application.  An I2C protocol signal is not supported by the USB-231.
