ULx - Can I change the Thermal Couple type during Run Time?

As of now, I am going into Instacal and setting up the thermal couple type manually.  But I have an abstract test system where the type might be different and I don't want testers to have to constantly open up instacal to change it.  I'd like that to be capable of being modified at run time.  Is this possbile?  I'm digging through the driver and I do not see it.  Is there a .net call not readily available/visible?

With ULx for NI LabVIEW, the thermocouple type must be preset in InstaCal.

With UL for .NET programming, the function to set the thermocouple type is SetChanTcType().  Reference the UL Help file.
