praveen nath
I am using XADC in zedboard for getting analog data with XADC wizard in vivado but when i have made the all connection and gave Vp Vn a 1V sinusoidal supply in Vivado I am not get the output only some noise is coming. 0 QuailJohn
To get a useful answer you need to post some actual information about your design, such as how the XADC is connected up within it, and the settings you used for the XADC wizard. Given the question you posted, the best one can say is that you are probably doing something wrong in the XADC wizard or how you are instantiating the XADC module in your design. artvvb
0 praveen nath
hello sir thank you for your reply I am generation code from IP catlog then instantiatiating it for my design and then checking the converted digital data in ILA but waveform is not sinusoidal. 0 zygot
One problem that someone trying to use the XADC for external signal capture might run into is using the wrong 12 bits of the data. If you are using the DRU the 12-bit XADC data is on the upper 12 bits of the XADC data. There are a lot of ways to instantiate an XADC. You can instantiate a primitive in an HDL using the DRU. That's one way. How you doe this makes a big difference in what kinds of advice you might get so be a bit more descriptive about what you are doing.
