Hi John.

Reason for asking is that we had some problems with saving logdata to file and even Windows blue screen. We upgraded all parts we can in Windows regards to service packs and fixes etc. But still in the Windows crash dump we do get hints for crash reasons that indicates that the USB-231 is involved. So we want to make sure we have all the latest in terms of drivers and firmware.

Hi Sten,

Install the latest version of InstaCal on a different computer - either Windows 10 or 11. Plugin the USB-231 and run InstaCal. If the computer crashes then the device has a defect. If this is the case and it is less than a year old, it covered under the warranty and you could get it replaced. If it is out of warranty, I'm sorry but it's not cost effective to repair it.

Latest version of InstaCal: https://www.mccdaq.com/downloads/InstaCal/icalsetup.exe

Best regards,

John
