Required Vi files for sensor (PMOD CMPS2) with complete lab

Dear Sir,

 

We are using Digilent NImyRIO Mechatronics Kits. We need latest Vi model file for ''Pmod CMPS2 3-axis Digital Compass''  with hardware connection diagram. Because we have latest sensor ''Pmod CMPS2 3-axis Digital Compass''  The available Vi file on the website of NI is for CMPS, which is older version of the sensor.

Please provide the lab for the latest version which is (PMOD-CMPS-2).

Hi @Asad Rashid,

We are taking a look into this; Digilent did not create the particular CMPS VI materials that were designed for the myRIO (I presume you getting the materials from NI here: https://education.ni.com/teach/resources/58/compass). In principle, it would be straightforward to update the existing VI to the correct I2C parameters and configurations needed to communicate with the correct registers on the module; the registers in question are clarified a bit more in the Pmod CMPS2 reference manual: https://digilent.com/reference/pmod/pmodcmps2/reference-manual#serial_communication.
