Can't Boot From Sd Card

Hi all,

 

I have been using zybo board and following this http://www.digilentinc.com/Data/Products/ZYBO/ZYBO-Embedded_Linux_Hands-on_Tutorial.pdf tutorial. I have managed to finish till step 3 of section 5 but it seems imposible(of course for me) to boot linux from the zybo board.

Have you built and booted a bare-metal project on the SD card?  I played with that for a couple days (Vivado 2014.4), and I just built linux (Digilent u-boot/linux) and am able to boot successfully.   I'm using my own simple PL design (not started from the Digilent zybo base system), so I had a couple of 'hardware' things to figure out along with the software steps, but it does work.   I'd like to eventually get something like linaro-nano that I could use with console/ssh.

Thanks for replying and the problem end up being with the sd card and it is working fine with a new one.

I was trying to use opencv on my board, zybo board, and coudn't find a docmentation on how to do that.

 

Can any one please share some

try cross compiling it for  arm core and copy the files to the lib directory on your board. I my self am doing something similar except i couldn't copy the files coz it keeps saying that there isn't enough space. if you have found another way please do share
