We built a customized JTAG adapter with the JTAG-SMT2-NC module but cannot get them working with Windows. When the device is plugged in, Windows reports that it malfunctioned. We have 3.3v and Vref powered. D+/D- are connected directly to the USB connector. We had a TVS diode on them but took it off to see if it was causing the problem; it didn't help.
I'm using a 120mA 3.3v regulator. I couldn't find max current consumption in the guide so I just went with that. Do you think that's enough?
