High speed PMOD differential pair length matching

GioST

Question

Dear all,

I will be using a CoraZ7 (single core) for a proof-of-concept. At the moment I'm designing an add-on board with a fast ADC which communicates through LVDS. For this application the high speed pmods with their differential pairs are sufficient to use. I would like to now what the length of the differential pairs are on the CoraZ7 board (inter-pair-skew). To just assume that they are all within, lets say, 1mm is a little too much. To be certain has my preference.

Although the clock speed isn't that high at 100MHz (DDR) it is good to know when starting the pcb design.

Kind regards,

Giovanni

With the exception of TMDS_33 there are no differential IOSTANDARD possibilities for any of Digilent's so called high speed differential PMODs. Please refer to ug471_7Series_SelectIO for information about Series7 IO capabilities. Digilent needs to revise it's advertising and nomenclature to avoid confusion.

Digilent does make boards with an FMC connector or SYZYGY ports that have a user selectable Vadj.
