Dylan B
Hey all! One thing I've always liked about Digilent's dev boards, from a mechanical standpoint, is the rubber feet they've used to keep the boards up off the table. They're the perfect size to allow for mounting SMD components on the back, not letting through-hole pins hit the table, and not so large as to be in the way when you've got through-hole components that need to sit close to the corners of the board. Try as I might, however, I've been unable to locate similarly-sized rubber feet for use on my own boards. Everything I've been able to find has either been way too small (correct diameter but way too short, meant for use as drawer-stops) or way too large (correct height, but huge diameter). Does anyone know which supplier Digilent uses for these parts? Given the lack of results I've found when searching I'm guessing that they are custom-ordered, but either way I'd love to know where they come from! JColvin
Hi @Dylan B, The smaller black ones on the Arty Z7-20 specifically are from Kang Yang, model number RF6-5. The normal clear hemisphere ones on most of our boards are from 3M, model number SJ-5306. Thanks, JColvin
