jtag-hs2 driver issue

Shani Kleinman

Question

Hi,

We are trying to use Metaware debugger with Digilent JTAG-HS2 cable HS2 for JTAG connection.

OS is Ubunto-18.

we've installed driver ( runtime and utilities from https://reference.digilentinc.com/reference/software/adept/start?redirect=1#software_downloads)

when performing  >> lsusb     -we see the device .

when performing  >> djtgcfg enum

return:   Found 1 device(s)

              Device: JtagHs2

              Product Name:   Digilent JTAG-HS2

              User Name:      JtagHs2

              Serial Number:  210249ACD43

when running with MetaWeare debugger we get the following msg:  "Could not load libdjtg.so."

we try to add the dir to LD_LIBRARY_PATH but results is the same.

any idea what are we missing?

Thanks

Shani

[DIGILENT] Device enumeration: #0 is `JtagHs2'=Digilent JTAG-HS2=SN:210249ACD434.
[DIGILENT] We  chose device  : #0 `SN:210249ACD434' from 1 possible devices.
[DIGILENT] Could not open device `SN:210249ACD434'.

Hi @Shani Kleinman,

We don't have a lot of advice regarding the Metaware debugger; there might be some more advice in this thread, https://forum.digilentinc.com/topic/15863-information-about-jtag-hs2-working-on-haps-80/, but in the end you will likely need to reach out to Synopsis with regards to getting the Metaware to correct detect and work with the JTAG HS2.

Thanks,
JColvin
