Pulse Generator in LabVIEW

Hello everyone,

I am using the Digilent Analog Discovery 2 (NI edition) and I would like to create the pulse in LabVIEW to synchronize with the other hardware (For example, use the digital pulse to trig the camera and waveform generator, simultaneously).

I found the solution by using the WaveForms software in "Pattern" , Can I do the same thing in LabVIEW with Waveform VIs?

Hello Racha,

The WaveForms VIs does not provide support for Pattern Generator, but you can access this from the WaveForms SDK with C library functions.

You can also generate pulse with the second AWG (fgen/2).

I am not familiar with that code programming.  

In the package, they provide the NI-Elvis software. Is it possible to use Discovery 2 as the ordinary DAQ ? but I cannot see hardware interface in NI-MAX .

The Analog Discovery in LabVIEW is not supported as ordinary DAQ, only through WaveForms VIs or WaveForms SDK with DLL import.
