Seeing Digital waveforms with nothing connected

Hello everyone,

I am using an analog discovery 2 with waveforms 2015. First installed it waveforms on a linux computer then started using my windows 10 pc. When I use the logic analyzer I am seeing waveforms when nothing is connected and when I have the digitial I/O wires connected I get nothing. There's some kind of negative logic going or something I am not sure what though. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The digital IOs are by default inputs in high impedance and these capture, toggle due to internal or external radiation.

Always connect the ground of the measurement device to the ground of the test circuit first. Without common grounding there could be hundreds of volts difference between floating electric unit ground levels. The Analog Discovery analog/digital IOs are protected, but high static discharge could damage the electronic circuits.
