Install waveform 2015 in my windows 8.1 meeting error code 80010200

Hi,

I am trying to install waveform 2015 in my windows 8.1 laptop, during the processing  I get the following error:

Driver installation failed.

Error code:80020100

the picture is attached here,anyone met the some problem?and howto fix it?

Hello,

The error indicate that the USB drivers could not be installed, probably because these are in use. You might already have a different working version installed.

1. Press Ignore and see if WaveForms can detect and connect to your device.
2. If not, try to reboot.
3. Try reboot without device attached and reinstall.
4. Try manual driver installation:

where can i find the manual driver?

As mentioned in the linked post: "C:\Program Files\Digilent\Runtime\UsbDriver" or "C:\Program Files (x86)\Digilent\Runtime\UsbDriver"

Do you see "USB Serial Converter" device in Windows Device Manager ?
Which driver version does it have ?

No  "USB Serial Converter" device item in my Windows Device Manager

after I connect analogue discovery to my  laptop the   "USB Serial Converter"   pop up in Universal serial bus controller item

I  Browse to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Digilent\Runtime\UsbDriver"  there are only 2 folds :amd64&i386,which one is the right one?

I test the scope application in analogue discovery it can receive signal, do I still need to manual install the diver?

1. It seems that you can connect with the WaveForms Application to the Analog Discovery, so everything is fine.
2,3,4, You don't need any further driver installation.
