Waveforms 2015 Power Supply Current Display

Hello!

I love the new Waveforms so far. However, I have one small suggestion: in the previous version, there was a rudimentary current/power display for the +/- 5V supplies that gave a good indication of whether or not the circuit was working properly. I am sadly not seeing this in the current version... I would love to see it added!

Hello,

This difference is between Analog Discovery and Analog Discovery 2. The earlier one has power monitor on user supplies, measuring the current/voltage taken by the two (+5/-5V) regulators, up to 100-200 mA total. Both applications, WaveForms (v2) and WaveForms 2015 (v3) show the power load on AD1 user supplies.

The Analog Discovery 2 does not have such monitor, only overcurrent limitation for user supplies and power monitors on USB and auxiliary supply. Improvements are the adjustable user supplies and it can provide more power with auxiliary supply (500mA or 2.1W / channel).
