  1. Hello @Fausto, Sorry, I meant the PCI-6024e and not the Quad04 during this convesation! I want to generate +-5V from the 6024e and not from the encoder card, my mistake during typing! Regards, Abbas
  2. Hello @Fausto, Thank you for your advice. I have two options to consider: Instead of connecting the pins of the card directly, I could solder wires that are connected to the pins together on a circuit board and that way get +-5V. We have two 5V outputs from the card. I could combine them to get 10V and then use a voltage divider with two resistors to get the individual 5V back. The midpoint (after the first resistor) would serve as the ground for the measurement amplifier circuit, allowing us to achieve ±5V. Which option would be better? Regards, Abbas
  3. Hello everyone, The PCI_Quad04 encoder card has two +5V output voltages, and I need to connect a measurement amplifier circuit (Messverstärkerschaltung) that requires both -5V and +5V as supply voltages. I am considering connecting a negative (ground) pin to one of the +5V outputs and the other ground pin and +5V output to the circuit, effectively displacing the zero point to achieve -5V and +5V. Would this setup damage the card or is it feasible? Alternatively, is there another recommended method to obtain -5V and +5V from the card? Thank you in advance for your assistance. Best regards, Abbas
