  1. Does the M in mF stand for micro (u) or mega? The unit of measurement it’s using is confusing. Also will it measure 4700uF correctly as it did 4.7mF? It is not measuring it correctly for me, and it keeps changing values in Meter menu. The impedance module is also a signal generator? What would a good EC look like in the graphing section (curve) versus a bad one? Does the meter menu show ESR value? Can you give me an idea what settings I should choose for a higher capacitance up to 5200uF. Thanks.
  2. I’m seeing resistor to high or too low this should not happen with the adapter. I’m just reading a capacitor and under impedance menu then meter menu, it is not showing the correct capacitor value, it’s constantly changing? Cs under meter is changing constantly and does not give the reading of the capacitor. Where do I go to get an accurate reading of the capacitor and ESR? Is ESR equal to RS under meter menu? I suspect a bad adapter. I have not done this but what would happen if an electrolytic capacitor was connected in reverse on the J2 green connector block? what is the limitation on the size of the capacitor this adapter/waveforms can handle? I was testing some 45 year old 3300uf to 4700uf 50 volt ECs I replaced on my P/S and these old caps still look good what would I look for in waveforms impedance curves in real time as bad caps? These were kept in a cool dry place for over 40 years with minimal power up and down in a very old vintage synthesizer Thanks!
