  1. Hello,

We updated our laptop to use DasyLab12, but it doesn't work properly. Can you give me some advice on how to fix it? We got a new laptop with Windows 7 installed because our existing laptop broke. And we installed DasyLab12, which we had previously purchased, there. However, when we start DasyLab12, an x mark is displayed on the MCC2408 mark at the worksheet and it does not work. Also, the MCC item is missing from the "Modules/Inputs/Outputs column" in the left column.

Also, could you please advise which version of InstaCal or MCC DAQ CD we should install to make DASYlab12 work properly?

    Thanks,

  2. Hello,

I would like to know the status of the USB-2537 DIO port under the following conditions (INPUT/OUTPUT, High/Low/HighImpedance, etc.).

#1. Signal status of each DIO A,B and C ports with only external power turned on

#2. From the above state, the signal state of each DIO A,B and C ports with voltage applied to the USB port

#3. Signal status of each DIO A,B and C ports when the OS starts from the above state and is not recognized as DAQ

#4. Signal status of each DIO A,B and C ports after PC recognized as DAQ.

#5. Signal status of each DIO A,B and C ports when the OS is shut down from the above state

On the actual unit, #3 and #4 show different states, #3 is low and #4 is high, is this by design? Also, are the statuses of #1, #2, and #5 correct as they are indefinite?

    Thanks,

  3. I change my questions. A 5V pulse wave is input to the DAQ every time the fan rotates once. We would like to display the rotation speed [rpm] calculated from the number of pulse waves per minute on the PC display. When 60 seconds have passed since startup, the average rotation speed from 0 to 60 seconds will be displayed, after 60 seconds, the average rotation speed from 60 seconds to 120 seconds will be displayed, and after 60 seconds, the average rotation speed from 120 seconds to 180 seconds will be displayed. we hope to update the display every minute. Also, we would like to set off an alarm when the number of revolutions falls below a threshold.

#1. Should we use the two counter input function of the USB-1808X? Also, what kind of software should we use?

    #2.  Does USB-1608FS-Plus support this?

#3. Is it possible to calculate the average number of revolutions per arbitrary time instead of 60 seconds?

  4. We would like to measure the rotational speed (RPM) of the fan. Can you give me 4 points of advice for this? The fan outputs a signal of 5 mA when operating, and 0 A outputs when it stopped. Also, a pulse wave of Max 13V Min 0V is generated once every time the fan rotates.

#1. Is this possible with DASYLab?

#2. Can DASYLab calculate the average number of revolutions per unit time?

#3. Can DASYLab set up a system to issue an alarm when the rotation speed falls below a threshold?

#4. Could you please advise me on the best DAQ model to measure this? Is it USB-DIO32HS?

    Thanks,

  5. When measuring voltage with analog input ACH0 and ACH1 using USB-2627 and DAQami, the measured voltage will not match the actual voltage.

Is it possible to change the input impedance of analog input on DAQami?

If possible, could you please tell me the command? Or can I do that using UL and InstaCal?

I think this phenomenon is caused by installing voltage dividing resistors of 300kΩ and 100kΩ to reduce the voltage to a quarter before inputting it. By inputting 1V into this, I can see the following:

    • Voltage at the connector end of the channel containing the voltage dividing resistor: Measured about 0.7V
    • Measure voltage of channel without voltage dividing resistor: 1V

From this phenomenon, I inferred that the input impedance of the analog input port was low.

  6. Thank you for your reply that the specification will not be changed.

The reason for this inquiry is that if the product we purchased this time does not meet its specifications, we have to collect this DT9836-12-2-OEM or AC adapter from the customer and replace it with another one. To be precise, our customer pointed this out to us. I am a member of MCC's Japanese distributor and sell it in Japan. DT9836-12-2-OEM is used for the same application. Not sure if the power supply is the same. I will check the details from now on.

  7. Hello,

I would like to use the USB-231 to collect analog input data each time an externally input Trigger edge is detected. When calling the AInScan method with the ExtClock option enabled, the following error appears. "Invalid option specified for this function." Could you tell me what am I doing wrong? Or is this function used to signal the start of measurement, and is it possible to use it for the purpose of collecting data for a set number of times for each trigger?

If the USB-231 can't do this, which models can? 16bit resolution is required.
