    This issue was finally resolved by returning the board to the factory. The Bluetooth module was replaced and all now works fine.

    But unfortunately the BTH-1208LS-OEM is no longer available. Also, the application is as an ambulatory device so tethering with a USB cable is not an option. Could you please explain why a factory reset on the Bluetooth module isn't recommended?

    Board: BTH-1208LS-OEM, Factory Ser. No.: 1C2C772, Main firmware version: 1.10, Radio firmware version: 6.15 The board will no longer go into pairing mode when the button is pressed for >5 seconds. The device is powered by batteries and not connected via a USB host. The status and power LEDs do not both start flashing as they should do when pairing. Instead, the power (top) LED comes on continuously and the status LED remains off. The board works fine if connected to the PC via USB – collects data etc in InstaCal and TracerDaq. We have a similar board with the same firmware versions that continues to work fine. They have the same Bluetooth Settings as displayed in InstaCal. Do you have any suggestions? I am wondering whether doing a factory reset on the RN42 Bluetooth module might help, or would that not be advisable? Many thanks
