Solved: The problem was that the Universal Library stops AI DAQ if we attempt to do cbDConfigBit to configure a pin as input or output on the 1608 AUXPORT. Unlike the 1808 there are separate DI/DO pins on the 1608 and there is no need to set the bit on the port to in or out. MCC claim a “Universal Library” but now we have had to put in special handling for different models.

Having issue: Software developed using the universal library works with 1808(and 1808X) but not 1608HS. Scans configure OK but no data is even returned in the A/d buffers. Could there be a hardware wiring or triggers which need to be in place? The device is recognized properly in InstaCal. I am using several (identical model) 1608HS-2AO cards but even enabling a single channel on 1 card gives me the same "Can't scan device 0027" error. Sampling rate is well below max for the card.
