Modifying the software to fit the change in names is a problem for us.

Is the USB-2408-2AO comparable and does it use the same port names?

Hi John,

Thanks for the response, I hope you are doing well. 

We have developed UI software for our device that communicates directly with the DAQ.  Since the older USB=2408 models are no longer shipping, we had to swap in the USB-TEMP-AI model.  Now, we can no longer obtain Digital IO values and are assuming that is the cause.  Analog IO is fine.  Does it make sense that this would be the cause?

If so, is there any possible workaround?

Have the Tag Names for the Digital IO ports changed between the following models?:

USB-2408

USB-TEMP-AI

If so, can the names of the USB-TEMP-AI digital IO ports be renamed to match the USB-2408?

HI John,

Thank you for the response.  FYI, we have completed all of the updates on the Lenovo ThinkCentre pc and then run the install. 

The results did install the .dll files however the C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\pdaq.sys failed to install. 

Is there any other way to install the device drivers?

Can we simply copy the files to the proper folder, etc?

When trying to install Personal DAQview software on a Windows 10 pc, the device driver installation is skipped.  Is there something that can be done to overcome this problem?
