  1. Thanks! Very helpful information! I did some more research based on your information and found a product that might make things even simpler and I don't need to use the 24V relays I was planning on using. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09PGFBTFR This product uses the Panasonic APAN3105 relay, is DIN mountable, 5 Amp current rating, and comes in multiple channel options. It meets my output needs and the relay draws at most 22mA per channel plus status led current (less than 64mA sink limit) and it has relay coil protection with a freewheeling diode. I will be using an external 5V power supply in order to not tax the USB supply. Do you see any compatibility issues that I missed? Drew
  2. I have used USB2408 in the past on other projects, but it does not have enough digital outputs. So I am planning on supplementing it's analog inputs with a USB1024HLS. I need about 16 Digital outputs and need to control 24VDC relays with a current draw of 14.5mA per relay. I have a 24VDC power supply and plan to configure the Digital Outputs with a sinking configuration (24V+ to relay, relay to digital out, 24V- to digital ground). I am planning on using the Murrelektronik 52000 slimline relay. Will this work with the USB1024HLS? Or is there another product I should consider?
  3. That worked. For your info, I was using the Chrome web browser. I decided to try Edge and the download registration worked from there. The new version fixed my issue.
  4. I have a Windows 11 computer. I installed my copy of InstaCal 6.71. It does not detect the USB-2408 board when it is plugged in. I figured I should download the newest InstaCal (6.73), but it does not allow me to download after going through the registration on the website. The USB-2408 is detected in the Device Manager fine. I am stuck while trying to make and test my code changes.
