  1. I installed LvLink3.10.2.0 on two different computers, both computers have LabVIEW 2018 and above. The problem is, the LV-Link libraries are not shown in the tool palettes of either computer's LabVIEW regardless of version (2018, 2020, 2021, etc. The LV_Link3 libraries are not available. Even when I search for a LV-Linnk VI, nothing shows up. Can tech support please verify that the latest version provided actually installs properly on another computer? One computer is a Windows 10 Pro. The other computer is a Windows 11 pro -> yes, I was able to get LabVIEW 2018 through 2022 32 bit and 64 bit to work on Windows 11. This brings me to my next point... I can't see the LV-Link libraries on neither 32 bit or 64 bit versions of LabVIEW. So I think there is something wrong with the installer. Thank you, JL
  2. Sorry Fausto, but you did not answer the question. Please make sure to understand the question thoroughly before answering. The question was about creating an INSTALLER, not creating the executable. I created a work around (that unfortunately confuses my clients). I really need MCC DAQ to actually address the actual problem I am having.
  3. I am creating new forum content to help those who want to be able to create a LabVIEW installer with the MCC DAQ LV-Link. Here is a reference link to a question to work through the issue here: Even after this exchange, I was still having problems with creating an installer with LV-Link. MCC DAQ's help file is completely insufficient when discussing how to build an installer using LV-Link. In this message, I will illustrate the problems I had below and then will explain how I fixed it. I really need MCC DAQ to fix this problem. Here are the errors I am getting when running an application (that requires LV-Link) that has been installed on a fresh computer referencing MCC DAQs help file: To try to get this software to work without errors, I modified the LabVIEW installer by placing the LV-Link related files (DLL, Library, and associated files) in the same place that were installed on the development computer. I still recieved the above errors. I then placed the files in the “data” folder” that gets installed with LabVIEW. Same problem. THIS RESOLVED THE ISSUE: What worked is… installing the LV-Link software that MCC DAQ issues to LabVIEW developers. The problem is… when someone installs it without the LabVIEW development system installed, it issues an error saying you must have LabVIEW installed. But this is not entirely accurate. The LV-Link installer actually installs three major components before it issues the error. To use MCC DAQ hardware that requires LV-Link, you must download the LV-LINK installer executable and run it. It will install some components before you get the error. Just cancel the error, restart your system, and it will work. It would be of great help is MCC DAQ tech team could fix this entire process. I have another client that will be using LV-Link. Thank you.
  4. It's not there. I just had to download it from MCC DAQ. Anybody reading this post from now on... just know that if you download the help file from MCC DAQ (https://www.mccdaq.com/Manuals), which is in CHM format, make sure you open the properties up and select "Unlock" near the bottom of the General tab. Otherwise the contents will show blank. Jeffery, thank you for your help! More importantly, thank you for being so quick to respond!
  5. I have it installed in the LabVIEW version I am using. What I am saying is that the help file you are pointing to isn't listed under the help tab.
  6. Well isn't that interesting... You have a specific help item under your help tab. I don't have that. I will look in the LV-Link folder where it is installed. Maybe it is there. Thanks for showing...
  7. Thank you Jeffrey, but ULx is different from LV-Link. I have worked with ULx for a while and understand that process fairly well. LV_Link looks to be different.
  8. Is there any documentation that steps through adding the LV_Link library to a LabVIEW installer?
