  1. I have several sensors reading in daqami and labview and have had no issues. When I connected my flow sensors, however, the values on daqami look perfectly find, but the values in labview are way way off. This is the same in instacal's "test" feature. I have all of my calibration settings the same in daqami and instacal. Do you know how I can fix this?
  2. I actually got it all working. Thank you for your help
  3. If I am not getting an output with my voltmeter, which I am not, do I attached the resistor between the blue on the flow meter and the black of the flow meter? or the black of the voltmeter?
  4. I removed all of the sensors and connected the white to H, blue and brown to (-) and (+) 18V, and then connected blue to every possible configuration of L and GND. I still have not had luck. Would you recommend changing the flow sensor settings to current output and trying to use the resistor and connect it that way? I called the manufacturer and they said to connect it with "Brown to 18V+, Blue to 18V-, black (or white if it is configured that way) to the DAQ input, and then the blue wire to negative on the DAQ." What does negative on the DAQ correspond to? Whenever I connect blue to 18V- and GND, the other sensors go haywire (and I did unplug all of the other sensors and try this, it still did not work)
  5. Hi I bought this flow sensor: https://www.instrumart.com/products/45963/eh-picomag-electromagnetic-flow-meter Part number: DMA20-AAACA1 Here is the manual: https://www.instrumart.com/assets/Picomag-Manual.pdf I want to connect the sensor to my USB 2416 so that I can read a voltage off of it on daqami. I cannot get it wired correctly to give me the correct voltage based on the scaling. Can you give me some guidance? I have the blue wire connected to 18V- and the brown to 18V+, which I am pretty sure is correct since the flow meter is working at the screen on it is reading the right value, I just need to know how to connect the white and black wires to the USB 2416 to get the readings on my computer. Thanks
  6. Sorry, maybe I was not clear, I am not asking for new DAQ equipment, I am asking for a flow sensor instrument that you guys recommend that will work well with the voltage reading capabilities of the USB DAQ device we already have.
  7. Do you have a recommendation for just a flow meter that will work with the normal channels, not the counter input?
  8. I had issues getting this working so we had to order another one. In the mean time, if this does not work, do you have a recommendation for a flow sensor that can work just out of the box, without the need for the frequency isolation module and additional items?
  9. Can you try to help me understand why the counter channels and the rest of the high and low input channels cannot work at the same time? Is this something in the DAQ system itself, or something on our end somehow? It is not intuitive how to connect the sensor to the back panel or the back panel to the DAQ system, and I feel like the flow sensors should work in the counters with everything else.
  10. How is the flow sensor connected to the board? Just the white wire to com? What about red and black?
  11. I went ahead and bought the frequency isolation module. How do I connect this with the DAQ and my flow sensor?
  12. We have a spare power supply. Earlier you recommended trying to power the flow sensor independently from the other sensors. Would you recommend trying that first before buying the frequency-to-voltage converter? Would we just connect red to that positive supply, black to the negative supply, and then the white/green wire to the counter? Do we need to ground it to the DAQ somehow?
  13. Even when I connect the white wire to the counter, the other sensor values diverge to incorrect values. Is there a way I can use these flow sensors without using the counter? When I connect them I can get a voltage, but I have no idea how to interpret the voltage I am getting in terms of flow rate.
