I was able to assist the customer directly. The NI9229 module is an older device and not supported by NI well currently. You need to use very specific calculated ADC rates which do not seem intuitive and are different than how done in many other devices. I found a copy of the older data sheet online, checked the data rate calculation for a workable data rate, updated the NI Max DAQmx task, updated the settings in DASYLab, and got it working. DASYLab 2022 is what they had on the system, which is a great new update. Really works well with MCC USB devices. Use it in many of our customers projects. Love supporting it, using it for 30 years. Keep it up, great software.🙂

If the part number has an OM in front of it, E.g, OM-USB-1408FS is it a problem using the MCC suport (thats how it reads in Instacal)? Cant see the unit marking inside a sealed box and at another site.

Does USB-1408FS work with DASYLab 2020.1

We have an installation that previously detected and worked with a USB-2416 & AI-EXP32 combination. It has stopped communicating with the PC. The USB port was verified operational with a flash drive. Using both a new spare USB-2416 & AI-EXP32 combination on the same PC were also not detected by Instacal. Can you provide trouble shooting suggestions for this PC? Changing PCs is more difficult.

When Setting AIs range (ex. J thermocouple) in DASYLab using USB-2416 & AI-EXP32 is the setting made just in Instacal or can DADYLab override the Instacal setting?

What are the default channel settings on a USB-2416 & AI-EXP32 pair in Instacal? I have an installation where the units failed and we will be installing spares. We were reading J thermocouples with the pair in DASYLab.

We have an installation that was working with a USB-2416 & AI-EXP32. The PC no longer reports them present in Instacal, tried disconnecting and reconnecting, same result. Checked connection to USB port and power adapter all connected. If we replace the pair with spares will both be associated in Board0 as before, or will we need to add the AI-EXP32 to the USB-2416 in instacal? Also, using with DASYLab. If we get the pair setup in Instacal as above, I assume no changes needed in DASYLab, is that correct? Thanks.

We ordered a SC-1608-USB on 1/4/2022 and as of 8/2/2022 no ship date was available. The customer went another way and we needed to cancel the order for that item. Partials were shipped as soon as the order was originally placed. we received a mounting enclosure for the SC-1608-USB, enclosure part# ENC-19X5X5 shipped 1/7/2022. The enclosure was never unwrapped/opened. We would like to return it for credit and apply the credit to another open order. How do we set up that return?
