  1. It seems to be the defect of FPGA silicon.
  2. Hi. I use the OOB image to boot Zedboard. I can see HDMI output and OLED etc., and UART output serial messages well. But I can not input anything including the U-Boot stage, and the LED LD11 does not blink when inputting. The other Rev. C board is all OK. Is there a way to debug this? Here is the booting message: U-Boot 2011.03-dirty (Jul 11 2012 - 16:07:00) DRAM: 512 MiB MMC: SDHCI: 0 Using default environment In: serial Out: serial Err: serial Net: zynq_gem Hit any key to stop autoboot: 0 Copying Linux from SD to RAM... old zybo?

Is there a correct way to boot petalinux (using the official 2017.4 version)? I have copied BOOT.BIN image.ub to the first partition of the SD card. Connect micro USB, ttyUSB1, but there is no outputting anything. The DONE led is also not lighted up. Or is there a whole image to download?? P.S. This image worked: https://miscircuitos.com/tutorial-zybo-linux-i-how-to-load-linux-debian-in-zybo-zynq-with-a-sd-card/ Unfortunately, the official one is not working. I think their tutorial lacked something...
  4. Hi, Is there any further process?
  5. Hi, JColvin Sorry for late reporting. Please check this thread: https://support.xilinx.com/s/question/0D52E000076thTfSAI/arty-s750-boards Update stituations: Hot one: When I reconnect by USB or DC plug today, there is no longer showing POWER GOOD LED. I only tested 1.0V across capacitors, the others are all ~ 0V. Not hot one: 1) When connected to JP1, DONE/POWER GOOD LED/LD0/LD1 still blink. 2) When not connected to JP1, POWER GOOD illuminates. But during the programing process, the DONE/POWER GOOD LED will blink one time, and then get disconnected and reconnected JTAG-USB. On the other hand, there are some cracks on top of IC14, which the IC is broken. But this should not affect FPGA about stanger behavior. So I conclude the FPGA is damaged. Could I need to do other testing?

  7. Hi, I have two Arty S7-50 REV.B boards from my lab's ancient instrument box. It seems not to work properly when flushing bitstream, one of them the FPGA chip is hot. ERROR: [Labtools 27-3165] End of startup status: LOW ERROR: [Common 17-39] 'program_hw_devices' failed due to earlier errors. Might be a power circuit issue? My question is, can I check the S/N number to check there is a warranty? If not, I could drop or scrap it.
